Nice to meet you. My name is Takanori Nakai, a member of the Gyoseishoshi Lawyers Tokyo.

After graduating from Osaka Prefectural University (now Osaka Metropolitan University), I joined a major telecommunications company, where I was responsible for planning various corporate services. Through this work, I gained extensive experience in marketing, IT-related technologies, regulations, contracts, and customer relations. Among these experiences, I will never forget the challenges I faced overseas, where differences in language, systems, and culture created significant barriers. I often wondered why things that seemed “normal” in Japan were not understood, and how I could communicate more effectively. I realized that these difficulties stemmed not only from language but also from deeper cultural backgrounds.

In daily life as well, many foreign residents in Japan must be facing similar struggles. Wanting to genuinely help such individuals is the very reason I decided to become an administrative scrivener.

Administrative scriveners are often called “legal professionals in the community,” and I believe this role is essential not only for Japanese citizens but also for foreign residents. I aim to specialize first in naturalization and Status of Residence procedures, and then expand my services to company formation, inheritance, and other areas of everyday life—becoming a true “community legal professional” for foreign residents in Japan.
